A refreshing Raspberry Moscato Cocktail that blends sweet fresh raspberries with Moscato wine and vodka, finished with sparkling water for a bubbly finish. Perfect for summer gatherings or a light, fruity drink to enjoy any time.

Ingredients

Fruit and Garnish

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Extra raspberries for garnish

Liquids

  • 4 ounces Moscato wine
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda

Others

  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the raspberry puree: In a small bowl, combine the fresh raspberries with granulated sugar if using. Mash them thoroughly using a muddler or the back of a spoon to create a juicy puree.
  2. Strain the puree: To achieve a smoother cocktail, strain the raspberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and any pulp, ensuring a refined texture.
  3. Mix the cocktail: Add the strained raspberry puree, Moscato wine, and vodka to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, seal it well, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to blend the flavors together.
  4. Prepare the glasses: Fill two glasses with ice cubes to chill them and prepare for serving.
  5. Pour the cocktail: Strain the shaken mixture evenly into the prepared glasses filled with ice.
  6. Add sparkling water: Top each glass with ½ cup of sparkling water or club soda to add a refreshing bubbly finish to the cocktail.
  7. Garnish and serve: Garnish each drink with a sprig of mint and a few fresh raspberries. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing Raspberry Moscato Cocktail.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sugar based on the sweetness of the raspberries and your preference.
  • For a smoother cocktail, straining the puree is recommended but optional.
  • You can substitute club soda for sparkling water if preferred.
  • Use chilled Moscato and sparkling water to keep the drink cool without diluting quickly.
  • To make it a non-alcoholic mocktail, omit the Moscato and vodka and increase sparkling water.
