Frozen Banana Snickers are a delightful and easy-to-make frozen treat that combines ripe banana slices topped with creamy peanut butter, crunchy chopped peanuts, and drizzled with rich dark chocolate. Finished with a sprinkle of sea salt, these little snacks capture the classic Snickers flavor in a healthier, frozen bite-sized form.

Ingredients

Banana Base

  • 2 medium ripe bananas

Toppings

  • 4 tbsp peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp chopped peanuts
  • Sea salt, to taste

Chocolate Drizzle

  • 4 to 5 tbsp dark chocolate, melted
  • ¼ tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut each in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into two pieces, resulting in a total of 8 banana slices. Arrange these slices evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Spread Peanut Butter and Add Toppings: Spread peanut butter evenly on top of each banana slice, ensuring full coverage. Then sprinkle each slice with a pinch of sea salt and chopped peanuts to add a crunchy texture.
  3. Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  4. Drizzle Chocolate and Freeze: Drizzle the melted chocolate over each peanut butter-coated banana slice. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and chill for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate hardens and the treats are fully frozen.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas to hold their shape better during freezing.
  • You can substitute peanut butter with almond or cashew butter if preferred.
  • For extra texture, add a sprinkle of crushed pretzels or toffee bits.
  • Store the frozen banana Snickers in an airtight container in the freezer to prevent freezer burn.
  • Let the treats sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating for easier biting.
