The Coconut Kiss Dirty Soda is a refreshing and tropical-inspired soda drink combining the fizzy sweetness of Diet Dr Pepper with rich coconut cream, coconut syrup, and fresh lime juice. Perfect for a quick, flavorful soda shop treat that can be made in minutes with easy-to-find ingredients.

Ingredients

Drink Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1 can (12 oz) Diet Dr Pepper (or regular Dr Pepper)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut cream (thick canned, not coconut milk)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut syrup (such as Torani)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 fresh lime wedge, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add crushed ice: Pour 1 cup of crushed ice into a tall glass to chill and create a refreshing base for your soda.
  2. Pour in Diet Dr Pepper: Slowly pour 1 can (12 oz) of Diet Dr Pepper over the ice to maintain maximum fizz and carbonation.
  3. Add coconut syrup: Measure and gently pour 1 tablespoon of coconut syrup into the soda, allowing it to swirl and infuse flavor.
  4. Add fresh lime juice: Squeeze in 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice to add a bright, tangy balance to the sweetness.
  5. Top with coconut cream: Spoon 2 tablespoons of thick coconut cream onto the top; it will float initially and then slowly blend for a creamy texture.
  6. Garnish and enjoy: Optionally, add a lime wedge to the rim of the glass for garnish. Drink as-is for a layered effect or stir gently to combine flavors.

Notes

  • Use full-fat canned coconut cream for the creamiest texture.
  • Pour the soda last to keep the fizz on top.
  • For a sweeter drink, use regular Dr Pepper instead of diet.
  • Chill your glass beforehand to keep the drink colder longer.
  • Stir gently if you want a blended look; avoid stirring for a layered visual effect.
  • Substitute Dr Pepper with Coke, Root Beer, or Cream Soda for variations.
  • Can replace coconut cream with half & half or heavy cream if needed.
  • Add vanilla syrup or a cherry garnish for extra flavor twists.
  • Prepare lime juice and coconut syrup in advance, but add soda right before serving to maintain fizz.
